"Ed for All have succeeded at re-engaging all of our students they have worked with, the staffs calm yet nurturing approach has paid dividends in not only mentoring them back on track, but successfully transitioning the young people back onto an educational pathway and fully supporting throughout this process, often going above and beyond to ensure a successful transition."

"Tariq and Jake from ‘Ed for All’ were commissioned by our GRIP services to conduct a programme of work with a number of our children and young people. This involved them taking a group of our children and young people on numerous planned activities and sessions across a number of facilities at their disposal. Your Chapter accompanied Tariq and Jake with a staff member from each of our respective homes and have gathered the following feedback from one staff member’s experience from the day:

‘I felt the guys at ‘Ed for All’ captivated the children really well and I was surprised at how well the boys engaged. I think the facilities they have available triggered interest from the boys and supported them with their engagement. The studio was something one of the boys commented on once he got back to the home and stated he was excited to go again. I also feel both Tariq and Jake bounce well off each other and this works with the boys also. During our sessions, the boys did not use the gym, but they mentioned this was because they were excited about going back to the studio.’

I met with Tariq and Jake during the first sessions to do introductions. They took time to speak with me and provide me with a debrief on the children and young people and whether there were any concerns which I considered important.

One of the young people said the following:

‘I proper liked going to the studio, it was sick. The atmosphere was great and everyone who was there was supportive. I would definitely go back for that.’

Overall, on reflection I was really pleased with how both Tariq and Jake engaged with our young people, and it was clear that the young people were excited to see them again, which was positive and engaging to hear about. They were both extremely professional and supportive and clearly take pride in what they do.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tariq and Jake for choosing our children and young people to work with, it was an experience they will not forget."
